To the north and east you have outstanding views of country life and townships 350m below and across to Mt Baw Baw 45km away. On clear nights, lights from farms and townships below twinkle like diamonds scattered over black velvet. To the south and west you have impressive views of farms and Mount Worth State Park. On clear mornings, you can be amazed by the range of colours accompanying dawns. On winter mornings you will be stunned by the mist in the valley (our mystic lake). Guests can let their eyes do the walking or venture out and do it themselves! Mount Worth Cottage consists of a two bedroom cottage and a studio, 10m away. More privacy! The main cottage has two bedrooms, one with private ensuite (shower and toilet) facilities, kitchen, lounge room and laundry with modern conveniences of air conditioning, dishwasher, microwave oven, CD player and DVD player. Olde worlde charm is achieved through the wood combustion heater and the character of the weatherboard ceilings. There is a north facing private sheltered BBQ area. The Studio bedroom has private ensuite facilities, tea making facilities and TV. There is a garage and a carport. The mature beech and oak trees in your 0.5ha garden as well as the rainforest trees nearby provide cool comfort from summer heat. The northerly aspect of the gardens ensures that the winter sun can reach its full potential in providing warmth to the gardens and cottage buildings.
