Our unique process etches the sign background approximately 2 mm into a single piece of solid western red cedar, leaving the lettering and border standing proud. They are ideal for outdoor exposure as this timber has been described as virtually rot proof. The process highlights the individual character of each piece of timber by exposing and enhancing the grain. The background is coated with your chosen colour and an upper surface finish applied to keep your sign looking good, for years to come.
