After having been in the beauty business for 22 years, Roberts has directed her passion into finding something that will be beneficial for skin and also environmentally friendly. She has completed five years of extensive research and experimentation to perfect the beauty skin care product line she proudly shares with the world now - Halo Organics.
Main Ingredients
The commonly-used ingredients in Halo Organics' formulation are naturally-derived. Some of these are composed of herbs, butters, herbal extracts, essential oils and floral waters. Halo Organics are proud to claim that they use emulsifiers, surfactants, and natural preserving ingredients that are the best and cleanest in the world.
Exclusions
In making any beauty product truly organic, there are certain things that need to be left out. Halo Organics' Rebecca Roberts has made wonderful skin care products that exclude some things that are still found in many of today's beauty ingredients.
Some of these are the nut oils. Including this type of oil will deny those who are allergic to nuts appreciation and use of beauty products. Palm oil, petrochemicals and mineral oils are seen by some as a health threat as they are known to cause cancer and hormone disruption. They have also been found to hinder the natural moisturising abilities of the body which then leads to dryness and chapping.
