Until the introduction of TATT2AWAY, Laser treatment was the generally accepted method for removal of tattoo pigment.
the problem is that laser light can only treat a limited range of colours, leaving others virtually untouched. TATT2AWAY however, is`colour blind` and will remove all colours, including the most exotic hues and pigment blends.
The challenges of laser tattoo removal
Laser removal of tattoos has risks associated with the types of ingredients used in manufacturing a pigment colours. When exposed to laser light tattoo pigment molecules are literally exploded into smaller pieces. In this process, tremendous heat is generated and both effects can cause changes in the pigment composition, allowing the release of certain chemicals.
Depending on the source of the pigment and the additives used by the tattoo artist, chemicals can be released that have judged potentially dangerous to health. Fragments of pigment broken up by a laser are disposed of by the body`s own clean-up mechanism- the lymph nodes and liver. There has been some concern amongst the scientific community that by-products could cause health problems later in life.
