Our clinic is centrally located in the heart of Cairns, where we offer a holistic, patient-centred therapy service. Our primary focus is working with children, especially those with complex disabilities. We have a wealth of experience and tools available to assist us in providing the best support to children with complex conditions, especially those with Autism Spectrum Disorder, Down's Syndrome and moderate to severe developmental delays.
While our primary focus is working with children, we also work with adults too. We often work with adults assisting them with post-stroke rehabilitation, complex disabilities and traumatic brain injuries. Our primary area of focus for working with adults is assisting individuals who have Dysphagia, (disordered swallowing) to ensure that they can swallow their food safely instead of food being inhaled (or aspirated) into the lungs which can lead to chest infections if undiagnosed.
