The South Australian Film Corporation is the state screen agency (established in 1972) to support the South Australian screen industry to achieve success.
For more than 40 years the South Australian Film Corporation (SAFC) has supported the SA industry's passion and professionalism for film, television and digital production across features, documentaries, shorts, animation and digital projects for cinema, television and online exhibition channels.
In 2011 the SAFC opened its new state of the art production facilities at Adelaide Studios, Glenside in Adelaide's east. The facilities feature 2 X soundstages, foley/ADR sound recording studios, dry hire edit suites, Dolby Premier Studios, suite of production offices and a 96 seat screening theatre all available for hire.
SAFC's core activities are:
Screen practitioner development and support
Script and project development and support
Production investment funding, cash flow loans and other incentives
Operation of production and post-production facilities.
Marketing SA crew, locations and facilities nationally and internationally
