  Located just off Crown Street in the alley behind American Apparel, this underground bar has an American wild west theme - expect deer heads on the walls and country music. Specialises in obscure whiskeys and bourbons. Sometimes you wanna go where everybody knows your name, and friends are always glad you came. It might not be Cheers, but there’s definitely a touch of the classic American dive bar about Shady Pines Saloon. We don’t know whether it’s the acres of dark wood, the complimentary peanuts or the whisky, but this tiny bar couldn’t be more Yankee if it tried.
