Cobbold Gorge, a Savannah Guide Station located on a working cattle property, is hidden away in the Gulf Savannah region of North Queensland. This unique narrow gorge is set amid rugged sandstone formations with spectacular 30 metre cliffs that narrow to just two metres wide. In order to protect the fragile environment, access is by guided tour where you will cruise peacefully through the gorge, in an electric powered boat. Two tours are available - The Gorge Tour and the Station Tour, both of three hours duration.
