Fairdinkum Offroad Adventure Tours from 1770/Agnes Water to Turkey Beach and Rodds Harbour through Eurimbula National Park.
Many people come to Eurimbula to enjoy the beach and fishing in a quiet, unspoilt area, but there is more to this area than meets the eye. The sandy beaches, pristine waterways and windswept headlands adjacent to the great barrier reef marine park are only some of the features of this area. Take some time out to discover the local flora and fauna like the tussock grasslands, dry vine forests and low woodlands with she-oaks, pandanus, acacias, banksias and eucalypts.
You can explore mangrove fringed estuaries, freshwater paperbark swamps, eucalypt forests with weeping cabbage palms and tall rainforests with towering hoop pines. Then there's also our diverse range of local wildlife such as:
- Cormorants
- White bellied sea eagles
- Red tailed black cockatoos
- Glossy black cockatoos
- Peregrine falcons
- Powerful owls
- Beach stone curlew
- Rare yellow bellied glider
- Rare sooty oyster catcher
- Loggerhead, flatback and green turtles (mid november to february)
- Dolphins
- Occasional migrating humpback whale
- Much more!
3 hour tours run twice daily from 1770/Agnes Water, through Eurimbula National Park to Turkey Beach and back (126km) including 2 exclusive lookouts with spectacular views from Gladstone to 1770 overlooking Rodds Peninsular.
