I am a qualified and highly motivated secondary teacher who has taught year 7-11 English, year 9 -12 Psychology and year 7-11 Humanities. I am currently on maternity leave but still have a valid VIT registration and working with children's check.
I enjoy working with secondary students and helping them work through difficult concepts. In particular, I am passionate about Psychology and feel I can offer a lot as a tutor. I have experience tutoring the current study design and have relevent notes, activities and practise exams for all areas of study. I am available for tutoring in Secondary Psychology (Year 11 and 12) and English (year 7 to year 10.) Lessons can be at your place or at the Lara/Corio Library.
The VCE student will be responsible for what they want to do/learn each session. However I will provide additional textbooks and worksheets as required. Year 7-10 sessions will be structured as required.
I have previous experience tutoring:
- numerous VCE Psychology students
- numerous English students (Grade 4 to Year 12)
- one student in I.E.L.T's preparation
I am a qualified secondary teacher and prior to going on maternity leave was English and Psychology co-ordinator. I have taught English, Humanities and Psychology to a variety of levels. I received my Diploma of Education from the University of Melbourne in 2005. My method areas of teaching are Psychology and Studies of Society and Environment. I also have a degree in Psychology from the University of Ballarat.
