I provide one-to-one tutoring and student-organised group tutoring.
My rate for one-to-one tutoring is $60 per hour.
Students are encouraged to form their own groups. I will try my best to meet your requirements for time, venue and topics. My hourly rate is
$40/person for the group of two; $35/person for the group of three; $30/person for the group of four or more.
Quite a few students studying VCE subjects with me for a period of time got A+ in their End of year exams. One of my VCE students was offered a place for pursuing Bachelor of Medicine/Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS). I have tutored the student Chemistry (raw score 49), Biology (raw score 45), Physics (raw score 40), Mathematical Methods (raw score 40). The student's final ATAR is 99.55 and I have also helped the student to prepare for the Undergraduate Medical Admission Test (UMAT) and the student got an average percentile of 99%.
My GAMSAT clients have achieved satisfactory scores in Section III after working with me for a period of time. One client has been offered a place to pursue MBBS at the University of Sydney in 2013, another got into Deakin.
One of my EduTest/scholarships students has been selected to attend The Mac.Robertson Girls' High School. Lot of them got superior levels in their mathematics, numerical reasoning and verbal reasoning sections.
I also have experience in teaching English as a Second Language (ESL), Mandarin, and preparation for standard exams, such as Edutest, IELTS, UMAT and GAMSAT Section III.
I work as a part-time teaching associate at The University of Melbourne at present. Since awarded a Ph. D. degree in molecular biology by the University of Adelaide in 2002, I had worked as a postdoctoral research fellow for more than 6 years at CSIRO and the University of Melbourne respectively.
