Lucas Estate offers tasting for sales of wine and local produce, including Mount Stirling's Olives. They produce premium wines in their on site, state of the art winery and virtually all of their wines have been awarded medals, many of them Gold. Lucas Estate make a variety of red, white and rose wine and are part of the "Strangebird" trail (alternate varieties).
The cellar door is air conditioned (wood fire in winter) and there is an expansive, covered deck where you can relax over lunch, which is available everyday and is home made from local, gourmet produce.
The property is designated "Land for Wildlife" and you are likely to see Whiptail Wallabies or, if you are very lucky, Koalas (92 sightings as of July 2008).
Live music is played every second Sunday afternoon with the larger Granite Belt Blues event on New Years Day and Rock 'n' Roll in the Vineyard on the last Sunday in May.
The cellar door houses a collection of artwork by resident artist (and winemaker) Louise Samuel plus other talented local artists.
