MCM Chemical Handling has been providing chemical handling and repacking solutions to industry for over 15 years.
We provide a range of services to industry, of which there are 4 main areas:
â?¢ Crushing hardened chemicals back into their original form so that they can be more easily used in manufacturing, or converted into the required form for sale. An ADS S/S Lump Crusher performs a majority of the work, crushing hardened 25kg bags of chemicals. For larger pack sizes, such as solidified 200lt drums or 1000kg bulk bags, a stainless steel Hazemag Impact Crusher is available.
â?¢ Repacking services are provided by MCM for clients who wish to change the original packaging size or type of their material. MCM can repack liquids and powders from any package size, including bulk carriers of dangerous and hazardous goods, into any other available container type such as polypropylene bulk bags or 25kg pails.
â?¢ Storage of both Bulk Chemicals and Packaged materials (Classes 3, 4, 5, 6, 8 & 9) is offered as MCM has a 4,500 m2 warehouse and a tank farm that has 15 storage vessels of varying capacity and materials of construction. MCM can also assist your company with container destuffing and stuffing requirements and can handle loose products, drums and palletized goods.
â?¢ Waste disposal is also offered by MCM for products ranging from old laboratory and industrial chemicals, to compacted and discontinued raw materials. Wherever possible, recycling is preferred to disposal and MCM encourages the disposer to consider this option.
MCM Chemical Handling also offer other services such as blending, milling, sieving, filtering and toll manufacturing of dangerous chemical and hazardous goods and also other non hazardous goods.
Butyl rubber tapes are also manufactured by MCM for a variety of applications including securing reflective â??cats eyesâ??to the road, sealing pipeline joints and to form a water proof seal to stop the penetration of water.
