Restorative Yoga is a wonderful way to escape from the rushed pace of
our daily lives. A practice that helps slow down the heart rate, blood pressure restores the body's optimum functioning. Combining the support of postures with conscious breathing stimulates the parasympathetic nervous system (our internal calming system), allowing the organs of the body to work to their maximum efficiency. It releases deeply held tensions from the body and mind, rejuvenating and restoring both the physical and mental body leaving you feeling renewed and energized.
This class is slow, deeply nurturing and suitable for all – especially those with busy and stressful work/ lifestyle and also those with chronic pain and limitation.
We start off with some gentle stretches to open the hips and relax your spine, followed by some nourishing restorative poses using bolsters and props.
Experience a short guided meditation and finish off the practice with deep relaxation. You will leave feeling refreshed and rejuvenated.
No previous yoga experience required.
