Hatha Yoga is the system of physical exercises refined over aeons into postures of very specific movements. In a yoga session every system in the body is given a boost, including the lymphatic, circulatory, respiratory and nervous systems. Through the postures we gradually stretch and strengthen the muscles, mobilise all the joints and relax physical tension. This physical release at the same time brings about a release of stored emotional trauma. Quite simply yoga makes you feel good - it's relaxing, it's energising, it's strengthening.
