Bikram's Hot Yoga is a unique series of 26 postures & 2 breathing exercises, performed in a room heated to 38-39 degrees Celsius. Bikram Yoga systematically works each and every part of the human body. Each posture contributes to help maintain optimum health, maximum function while improving stamina and endurance.
The warm room encourages greater flexibility, reduces the chance of muscle strain and at the same time helps to cleanse and detoxify the body.
Hot Bikram Yoga, a therapeutic Hatha yoga sequence, also combines essential skills of concentration, patience, determination and self-control, which can lead to increased mental clarity, reduced stress and an improvement in overall well being.
