      Who can locum?

      Any medical practitioner with full unconditional registration from RMO1 up.


      Do I need my own medical indemnity insurance to locum?

      In NSW, you are required by law to have your own medical indemnity whether you are working in private or public hospitals. Other states may have different requirements, but in general if you want to work in private hospitals you will need your own medical indemnity cover. Please contact our staff if you have any questions.


      Where can I work?

      We have locum work available on casual and longer term basis throughout Australia in public and private hospitals. If you wish to work in another state to the one you are registered in then you can apply for mutual recognition in that state.
