We recently called a number of painting service businesses, both local and outside our area, to get a quote to paint our eves, timber windows, doors and balconies at the front and rear of our home.



Of the 4 painting companies (small and medium sized businesses) Lugarno Painting Service (LPS) were not the lowest price, however they were competitive. We decide to go with them because of the 4 painters who gave quotes, they were prepared to take the time to offer advice on choosing the right combination of paint colours and help us do the job with a minimum of fuss. We concluded they seemed more interested to help us and as it happened, we were right.



Some examples of how they went out of their way are when painting an awning which was difficult to reach without cutting away a number of trees we have around our home, rather than forcing us to damage our trees, they removed the awning and painted then reinstalled it carefully at no extra cost. While painting our balcony LPS noticed a door was not opening and closing properly. Adam, the business owner, took it upon himself to repair the ageing hinges and even replaced our door handle at no charge because he said he happened to have a door handle which he had no use for. There were other examples where putting in more effort to do things right seemed a priority.



This small team of painters were quiet, methodical and thorough in doing their work and I will have no hesitation in calling on them to paint the interior of our home when that is needed.
