When someone you love dies it's a sad, confronting and sometimes lonely time for their family.



Recently our much loved patriarch passed away 25 days short of his 94th birthday. While he had a wonderful long and happy life, losing him hit his wife of 73 years and his 3 sons and families extremely hard.



In this time of great loss and sadness came the confusion of what to do next, and that's when Dwyer Family Funerals came to the rescue. They came to our home on a day they were spending with her children at football and netball and their eldest sons birthday to explain the next steps we needed to take. At this time the family was unsure of who to go to to help and who they would eventually engage to say goodbye and Dwyer Family funerals was aware of this. They still took the time to explain everything that needed to be done and who does what in these hard days ahead.



Our family immediately felt at ease with Dwyer Family Funerals and all the questions we had were answered in a beautiful, understanding way that made us choose Dwyer Family Funerals for our last goodbye.



In the coming days we became pat of the Dwyer Family Funerlas family and they a part of ours. Always there for us to answer questions and to ease us through the days leading up to the funeral.



The Pastor who visited and spoke to the family about his role in the service was also a great help in those difficult days. The poem he wrote, titled 'Joe' after he read the Eulogy the family had put together perfectly reflected who he was...thank you .



The day of the funeral was so beautifully managed by Dwyer Family Funerals. The hearse came to the house for the final goodbye. The driver opened the door and place a rose on the mailbox in a beautiful final goodbye to his family home...his castle. We driven to the cemetery and took care of us in their own, beautiful way.



The service was so hard, but so beautiful because of your guidance.
