Cypress is an affordable and extremely durable choice for both external and internal cladding and panelling. Cypress weatherboards have stood the test of time on many Australian homes and will continue to do so provided they are maintained regularly according to the recommendations of the exterior paint product.
What is MDF(Medium Density Fiberboard)?
MDF is a uniform density panel with a fine and smooth surface ideal for shaping and routing. MDF can be easily painted, cut, machined and cleanly drilled without splintering or chipping. MDF is an engineered waste-wood product manufactured from pine fibre and resin compacted together, which makes it surface-free of knots and grains that can make finishing difficult and time-consuming.
Is it expensive to maintain ModWood?
ModWood comes into its own when the deck is exposed to the elements. It does not need constant maintenance to ensure its longevity.

Our organisation was originally established when brothers David and Alex Walker purchased Tom White's Sawmill at Ourimbah Creek in September 1933.
