I felt lectured rather than listened and on the plenty of advice I received very few will be helpful. I feel very stressed after this appointment which was my first and last one unfortunately.

Don't go go Bertina if you have an eating disorder, particularly binge eating disorder. She was simplistic, judgemental and invalidating. I had to cut the session short after 40 minutes because I was so upset and angry. If you are overweight seeking help with eating issues she will just lecture you about your weight and how unhealthy it is to be at your size, when Hello? This is the reason I am seeking help in the first place. Luckily I know there are better psychs out there but if it was your first experience she might turn you off seeking help altogether.
