As Slick As A Dog

Dog cutting was fine. What I have a problem with - I was told a time to collect my dog which was 4.30pm, then got 1 phone call only at 1.50pm, which I missed, and then a second to which I then got abused on the phone, my husband coped a mouthful when collecting our dog in front of our kids and then charged extra $20 due to having to keep staff on. Staff mentioned that they normally close at 4pm and that all signs say so - well maybe they should update yellow pages - because it says until 6pm! Won't be going back.

I took my bichon in for a haircut and they asked me what I wanted. I didnt know. They showed me a picture a traditional cut specified for my breed. I said that I liked to look but I didnt want Robbie to have the hair around his mouth because he dribbles. So they shaved and blended his snout and he looked so adorable. I was very hesitant at first but the staffs were lovely and warning and make me feel comfortable. They were very quick and worked around my busy schedule. Recommend!

My dog (Ruby) is really old and has health problems. I have always tried to groom her myself but as she aged, it became increasingly difficult. So I looked around at all the different dog grooming salons in my local area. I took her two before finding As Slick As A Dog. I rang them up late on a Sunday afternoon and told the woman about Rubys health conditions. She was very understanding but said that she was fully booked all week. She suggested that I bring Ruby in early Monday morning before they open to have a look at her. I bought her in and they were so friendly! They (even though fully booked) took her in and groomed her for me. Not only were the results wonderful but they took such great care of her. She came out looking and smelling amazing. I cannot thank Robyn, the owner enough. A recommend this salon to everyone! Thank you As Slick As A Dog staff.

Their always so friendly and patient and take the best care for each pet brought in. Every visit they've kept an eye on sore's and spots and make sure the pet is given the utmost best care.
