      Took three trips and car started hunting after the first visit which it never did

      Cost $800 and the original problem was fixed but a larger problem came after the first visit

      i was a little concerned about visiting this shop to get my air con re gassed as the reviews were mixed, anyway i bit the bullet and went in i stayed there for approx 25 mins and it was done, now i have crisp cold air and im super stoked

      What a rip off,
      I have had a problem with my car air conditioner now for 4-5 months.
      I had a mobile air guy call out in November 2016 diagnostics showed no problems. The report charge was $50.00
      Last week I booked it in to Motorama Springwood. diagnostics showed the thermo fan A $90.00 part. The report charge was $67.00. I refuse to have any work done by there mug canics
      Today at Jay Kays I was told it was the compressor, part only cost $1.100.00.
      Confused I decided not to go ahead with the repairs. I was told I would be charged only for the diagnostic.
      GUESS WHAT JAY KAY'S MUST THINK THEY ARE ABOVE ALL OTHER SPECIALISTS AS THE DIAGNOSTIC REPORT COST WAS $132.00. I have seen this report process and it takes only 10 to 15 minutes.
      Do your self a favor and get costs up front so you are less likely to be ripped off like me.

      Huge thanks to Darren and the team for regasing my airconditioner. Your honesty and service went above and beyond. Not only did Darren discuss possible problems it may/could be, but advising in the cheaper option of filling and seeing if there really is a leak in the system or just requiring a regas. My situation was a little different as I dont live here so fitting me in on a Friday afternoon was a godsend. Hopefully it lasts for another 5-6 years.

      Last night our Ssangyong Stavic's electronics would not register that I had my foot on the brake and therefore the car was stuck in neutral and wouldn't go into gear. I left a message on Jay Kay's mobile phone early in the morning and Darren contacted me before 8am on his way to work. He knew how urgently we needed the car fixed and sourced the parts for us. My husband was able to pick them up and drop them off after work and the car was fixed immediately. Jay Kay's Auto Electrics reminds me of the old time reliable, speedy service that you used to get-you know before the little guy started being pushed out by the bigger companies that treat you like a number rather than a person in need. We were pleasantly surprised that we were able to deal with the same person from beginning to end. So if convenience, quality of service and reasonable prices are what you are looking for than this is the place to go. We highly recommend them. Thanks again Darren and the boys we appreciate you looking after us.

      Always a plessure to deal with, offer very good service and great prices and will always go out of their way to help. Also offer a conveint mobile service. I continue to take all my cars back for any auto electrical and air conditioning work after 5 years of great service.
