Mercer & Luck Pty Ltd

Sharp fridge decided to play up just before Christmas. They only had the next morning free to come have a look (Friday 23rd). Guy had a quick look and told me that the circuit needed to be replaced. BUT Mercer & Luck and Sharp would be closed over Christmas and wouldn't open again until after the new year. I mean it's only summer and Christmas, it's not like you need a fridge or anything right? I waited over 2 weeks and when they finally called me they told me they couldn't come install it until Friday 13th January (3 weeks after first looking at it). 3 weeks of no fridge and 35 degree temps is clearly nothing to complain about. Different guy came to install new circuit and barely said a word to me. I waited hours for it too cool down and guess what??? Yep the fridge still isn't working properly. And to make things even better Mercer & Luck are closed over the weekend. I am never buying Sharp anything again. And I am sure as heck never recommending Mercer & Luck to anyone ever.

I left my cooktop to be repaired on 12/2/13 and after many calls, was finally able to pick it up after 2 weeks. Paid $290 and took it home to find it was still not working, so took it back and after many phone calls i was finally told 3 months later that the part needed is no longer available. I called the manufacturer who said that it is still a current model and the part is definitely available. Mercer and Luck said they can't repair it. After 3 months without a cooktop and $290 later, I am still trying to use a cooktop that needs repair. To top it off, there is now a chip in the glass on the corner of it.. Very dissatisfied customer. I would not recommend them. Definitely not worth the one star but I had to put something.
