We offer Roof repairs for older roofs as well as leak location service, for Hobart and Tasmania.

      Our basic philosophy and guiding principle is to never compromise on quality and time, to always use the finest materials available from Tasmania, Australia, England, Europe and North America. Being specialists in slate and heritage roofs, we work tirelessly with our customers in Hobart and Tasmania to maintain and preserve their roofs. Our fully licensed roof repair and restoration team aims to keep Tasmanian heritage buildings in as close to original condition for generations of Tasmanian's now and into the future to continue to enjoy.

      Slate roofs look stunning and timeless, but need regular maintenance to keep them in great condition. To prevent wear and tear, and reduce the need of major roof repairs, or replacement you should have your slate roof checked every few years. Our experienced team can replace broken and cracked slates, tiles and shingle, only using quality materials to ensure a safe and secure roof for many years to come. We also stock a large range of recycled heritage slates, re-roofing using only quality Welsh, European and American slate.

      If your chimney is not carefully monitored and maintained, wear and tear can lead to eventual collapse. By removing degraded mortar and replacing it, your chimney’s strength is improved, thus extending its lifespan. We can also provide new or replacement chimney pots, ensuring they are in keeping with your roof and existing architectures. We also specialize in stepped flashing, an important feature of all chimneys and one that is often ignored in favour of false economy.

      Over the past couple of year my husband and i have employed James and his family to carry out roof repairs, roof restoration and re roofing projects on our Heritage listed federation property in Hobart.

      From the very beginning of our dealings with James we have have felt we were in the hands of a true professional. His easy going manner and ability to convey complex technical building information in a easily digested way was a breath of fresh air.
      At all time he kept us informed, and even invited us onto the scaffolding to see the slate roof close up, what a thrill!
      We were eventually able to afford a new welsh slate roof, although not cheap it is truly a thing of beauty, and has transformed our home,
