Was supposed to do a reno job for me. Took deposit and more, saying he will need more money for trades to get work done. Initially, some works were done but after a couple of months dragged on with little work and excuses for delays, he disappeared. No communication from him whatsoever. His own trades- electrician and plasterer, was looking for him as well, asking me where he went and why they hadn't got paid. Long story short, I had to take legal action and only a portion of my money was recovered a year and a half after.
