Highly disappointed with the complete lack of organisation and professionalism here. I sent a referral from my GP to an email address as advised by someone I spoke to at the clinic when I initially called, and they told me they would be in contact in late March/early April to arrange for an appointment. Fast forward to the end of March and no one had been in contact so I called them myself.Turns out my referral had been received but was however "missed" and I am now unable to book an appointment with the specialist I wanted to see despite being told I could at this time. To top it off, the specialist is now moving to a different clinic in May, up until which he is booked out, so it is now my responsibility to once again go and get a new referral from my GP and take it to the new clinic where I will not be guaranteed an appointment straight away. I sent an email to the feedback team and have not received any reply. Such lack of organisation is preventing me from receiving healthcare that I have been waiting a long time for and that I genuinely need. Completely unprofessional and a waste of my time and effort. Please in future attend to prospective patients and don't "miss" referrals that are in the inbox.
