Cash Converters Belmont

DO NOT SELL TO THIS LOCATION. There is a particular staff member who will try to massively lowball you. I got a quote from this location, was happy with the amount, but didn't get around to making the exchange. Two months later I had the time, and asked for another quote on the same item. I received a call telling me I was now being offered 50% of what this exact same store had offered me shortly before, and less than 40% of what other nearby Cash Converters locations were offering me.



When I pointed this out to the staff member, he became flustered and started acting very unprofessionally. First, he gave me an excuse I would expect from a five year old: "That wasn't me". Then, in a very classy move, he attempted to shift the blame to his co-workers, implying they offered me too much. When I pointed out that other locations had offered me even more money for the item, he rudely dismissed me, implying that I was simply lying to him, despite the fact he was looking at evidence that I had been offered at least 50% more for the item but his own store. 



If you sell here, expect them to rip you off (more than a normal cashies would) while treating you like a liar and a moron.
