Highly recommend these guys. We had our driveway completed in March 2014. This involved removing existing concrete strips and the grassed front lawn. We chose charcoal coloured concrete with a red brick stencilled edge. 1300 driveways were professional from beginning to end. Chris Dahl was always prompt and courteous - customer service was great. They listened to our concerns regarding to the heat wave at the time and did not pressure us to pour concrete (as others we had previously engaged tried to). The driveway was completed in an efficient time frame and on budget. The team was also able to amend our design to incorporate requirements for the installation of a new fence and motorised gate at the last minute. The driveway looks great and we've had no problems with cracking etc. We would not hesitate to recommend 1300 driveways.
I've been told that cracking usually only occurs when there has been poor drainage set up.......Was there much discussion about the drainage on your job?
Great guys initially, but when the first crack appeared in the drive ( concrete paver cut) and I indicated that the expansion joins were not deep enough, no action was taken. Continual follow ups but nothing. 17 cracks now and counting. What a mess.
So I take it this means that the 12 month warranty that no other concreter seems to offer, is not realistic as when an issue arises, its not dealt with amicably? Looking to use this company to do my Driveway. Its between them and one other, who I initially was nervous about due to them being a smaller player, although this company had 100% positive reviews. Seeing 2 negatives amongst these comments is making me a little worried.
On time (3 weeks from quote to finish!), On budget, with no problems, and an exposed aggregate finish that exceeded my expectations. I have had other tradies on site who could not believe the quality of work for the price. Would not hesitate in recommending these guys for any concrete work that you may need.
I just had my exposed aggregate driveway done, and it's safe to say I'm very impressed. The guys where out on site in days, measuring up the job. The job was completed professionally and promptly. I would recommend 1300 driveways to anyone who wants a quality finish. Good customer service and best price I could find.
