1889 Enoteca

Great Italian wine and food

Rome's wine cellars are the inspiration behind 1889 Enoteca.

Located in the Taylor-Heaslop building (circa 1889) in Woolloongabba, 1889 Enoteca has combined a restaurant, wine bar, wine store and cellar.

1889 Enoteca combine the best fresh produce, knowledge and passion for an overall experience.

A relaxing Sunday lunch here was a lovely end to the weekend. The food was amazing however found the Gnocchi main incredibly overpriced at $37. It was however a tasty dish, however the price just overshadowed it. The entree of salumi to share is a great way to start and great selection of wines. Service was attentive, happy and relaxed which was nice to have on a Sunday.

Great Italian restaurant and ofcourse one of the best gnocchi dishes in town! Definitely a special occasion place and book in advance!

Fantastic Italian restaurant with an amazing wine selection. My only issue is that their menu hasn't really changed in a very long time so it gets a bit boring. Food is great!
