I guess I just wanted to check out a couple of the cafes in and around Subiaco, and this place seemed to be nice enough. Well, probably not as nice as I would have liked, but it was nice enough anyway, and rather close to the railway station which meant that I didn’t have to go searching for too long. However, the place didn’t stand out as some of the places that I have been to. It actually seemed to be one of those cafes that are attached to a theatre. It was a nice place for a coffee, but not outstanding.
What a disappointment. We went there for a coffee prior to the show at the Regal. The place was filthy, un organised and just unpleasant. The coffee was served in paper cups, the food in take a way bags etc. When speaking to the Manager he was extremely rude and basically said "If you do not like it leave" He made no secret about the fact that he does not care what customers say nor what the perception is of his store. I will never return and will ensure that as many as possible people know about the unpleasant experience. Disgusting!
