Love tapas? Love seafood? You’ll love Sean’s Kitchen. Clever one-hat chef Sean Connolley’s chi chi Spanish bistro has a heady and indulgent atmosphere, just like the food. The hand-cut chips are cooked outrageously in duck fat, served in a paper cone and like the churros – donuts dipped in chocolate – you just gotta have them! Then there’s the huge cured Spanish hams hanging in glass cases and gutsy mains like the succulent chicken brick-roasted in its own juice. Straight from the fish markets is a dazzling array of seafood on dramatic display: huge-clawed crabs, crayfish and lobster (the sashimi is to die for, plated on delicate white ceramic atop a cute rosemary filled vase). It’s these small finishing touches that give this restaurant a polished international flavour. Fiesta! Go for great tapas and the fabulous wine list – oh and the crunchy, light onion

A group of us went for dinner here on Monday night to celebrate a birthday. As usual in most overly expensive restaurants the menu is quite small but quite pricey. Our waiter was very attentive (although well trained in trying to persuade you to order the most expensive wine on the list). My hubby ordered the Pacific oysters which he was very impressed with. I definitely do not recommend the garlic bread. The bread itself is nice but I would suggest that you ask to pour the garlic/butter mixture on as our waitress unfortunately poured way too much and it turned the bread into an oily, way over the top garlic bread which barely got touched. Our mains did take a while to come out but quite understandable as they were very busy and it gave us time to chat. The Alaskan mud crab claw was devine and the side dishes of carrots and potato very nice. The salmon was nice but not amazing so if I go again I would most likely order something else. Overall, the dinner was ...read more

Great sports bar for watching the big matches. They have a cinema style screening area and plenty of LCD TV screens. I went there for a world cup match and it was packed! Their 24/7 drinking licence kept people in high spirits and the atmosphere was fantastic. They have a good drink selection to choose from, so everyone is happy. Just try not to get too drunk and end up loosing all your money in the casino...

I have been there on two different occasions. The first was a lunch with my husband. The food was different, but a delight to the taste buds. I especially liked the churros! The second was Mother's day lunch. We had a la carte. The service was quite slow, on the day, but hea, I was in no rush. I had the churros again, I absolutely love the way they cook them. And I will have them again, next time I go.

I highly recommend Sean's Kitchen, but remember to take a fat wallet. Suzzie.

I am hoping we just went on a bad night - but i have to say this restaurant is a little over rated. We wanted to order the large wagu steak - unfortunately only the smaller one was available and it tasted like any sirloin from the Hogs breath cafe. The oysters pacific not Sydney rock, but thats a personal preference. The one dish i would highly recommend would be the Pea risotto - sensational. Not sure i'd go back though - but worth a first visit.
