42nd Street Cafe

My friend and I had to go see a travel agent which was across from this cafe to finalize a booking but when we got there he was busy so we decided to have brunch while we waited. The special on the board seemed tempting enough - Smashed Avocado with Poached Eggs on Rye. I'm sure it wasn't because I was really hungry that it tasted so good, I think the combo just goes really well. Cannot go wrong with such a breakfast of avocado, poached eggs and toast! The only thing I could pick on was taht the poached eggs were a little borderline on the over-cooked side for me as the yolk was not that runny. Other than that though - delish!
