5 Dogs will satisfy your hunger with the first permanent hot dog outlet in Brisbane's
Fortitude Valley. Situated in the Brunswick Mall, at the base of the McWhirter's building,
5 Dogs is offering gourmet hot dogs as an alternative to the other greasy fast food traps
in its surrounds.
Robert & Yako Hueston recently opened the 5 Dogs store after seeing a gap in the Brisbane
food trade for a specialty hot dog outlet, where the take away food is actually good. You
can be sure that 5 Dogs Hot Dogs are fresh and bursting with flavour, sausages are hand
made by local Brisbane Butchers and steamed on a hot plate, assembled on sesame
seeded buns that smell like they've just come out of the oven with fresh produce sourced
from local small businesses. The special sauce added to the buns gives a 5 Dogs Hot
Dog its unique flavour.
Try if you dare the 5 Dogs selection of hot chilli sauces. These are for the adventurous
and serious chilli lover, but must be ordered at your own risk. 5 Dogs chilli sauces are
extreme ranked 10 to 10+++. Chilli fans can go off the chart with the Ghost Chilli Sauce
and Harbanero Ultra Hot Death style sauces, but beware they are not for the faint hearted.
