50 Avalon Parade Medical Centre

I am so disgusted and hurt... I have been going to this centre for over 30 years. Have been taken the same medication for years and went to pick up script today that I ordered on Tuesday and nothing was there. I have hurt my knee so can barely walk so drove myself there from Newport.The reception ask Dr Nakal to do the prescription and she insisted I see her so that would be $80. This is the first time I have had to do this and the fact I wasn't informed of this when I initially called to order is disgusting as I made such an effort to pick up with a bad knee When I informed her that I would pay for consultation she screamed out well I won't see you in front of people in waiting room. Never again.... I will find a new doctor closer to home . I actually feele that they don't care anymore as it is all about business and not care.

This place is 50/50!
I tried getting onto the books for 2.5yrs as a friend raved about it. Once I was in, I found out all these new to the area people got in first go! Even though I asked to be put on a wait queue which I never got a call back from.
Anyway, I finally got in when I had a baby. Dr Eccles is a fantastic Dr. He is the only reason I keep coming back. He is professional and switched on. I have always felt secure with his handling of both my babies/toddlers health.

Avalon Parade Medical. The reception is very rude. They act more like military comanderd. Dr Townend I was late for 10 mins due to car trouble refused to see me. I wonder are these really doctors to help people??? I said I was in pain but they insisted I can only see doctor after lunch although she was in her office. It's a pity there are such nasty people around.

They were far too busy to see us. We,ll go somewhere else.
