delicious chai, brewed, in a pot, enough for 2.
a favorite for myself and my girlfriend.
also quite a selection of interesting teas and sweet treets, as well as great value paninis.
the decor is recycled retro, I like the cosy non-pretentious outfit of it all.
while I know others have commented on customer service, for me the product and value for money is far more important.
but everytime I have been, I seem to not have any problem with any of the staff.
be kind to them and they will be kind to you :)
Love love LOVE the chai latte's here and the banana bread, but i constantly battle with myself as to whether to go here as the customer service is so appalling :( the cafe staff have sat there in front of me before on a few occasions having their own conversation, thus ignoring me when i am waiting to place an order. Then it's not a 'hello, how are you' or 'good morning, what can i get you'', it's usually just 'what do you want?'
There is one staff that works here who swears an awful lot (don't we all really) but i find it really off putting in a business sense and i think it reflects poorly on the place as a whole, and gives it a negative vibe.
It is decorated in a really funky way and the vibe is usually good in here. Overall a great place for food and coffee, but they really need to employ more customer service focused individuals.
