Great atmosphere with friendly staff. Quick and great customer service! When asked for their recommendations on servings they were very helpful in helping us order the appropriate amount. The wagyu cuts were fragrant and tender. We loved the corn and cheese, egg on the side of the BBQ as well! Overall a great environment with plenty of space between tables making for a comfortable dining experience!
Australia loves a BBQ and so do the Koreans. We are off to Eastwood to Get hands on and cook Korean BBQ at 678 Korean BBQ. If you are craving some BBQ they will not have a problem fitting you in, as the venue is not short of space, it's huge. Blink and you'll walk past it, the doorway entrance to the restaurant doesn't give anything away.
Go up the flight of stairs and be greeted with a warehouse-style dining room with neat rows of wooden tables with gleaming, low hanging exhaust fans teetering above charcoal grills. The entrance is a homage to K-Pop with framed photos and other artefacts, with music clips on the TV screens.
All the different cuts of beef and pork that we tried were tender, succulent and full-flavoured, and there's plenty of accompaniments contributing to a very crowded dining table.
Overall, a delicious meal and great group dining experience.
One of my top Korean Bbq to go to with delicious sides and bbq meat.
Located close to Chinatown this place is always busy, the place is part owned by a Korean celebrity so dont be shocked if you bump into someone famous when they do a world tour in Sydney.
Well worth the money. Until next time ... Keep eating!!!
