I got off a bus stop early on my way to work and was on the hunt for a coffee plus craving something toasty. I saw a sign out front of 83 on Currie which had a coffee and toasted sandwich deal for $7, so I thought to myself 'okay, why not'. Coffee was good, toasted egg and bacon sandwich was yummy the only thing it lacked was a little dry as there was no tomato sauce in it. I didn't realize you had to pay extra for sauce. Anyways, got my fix /brain food before work in the morning at a decent price!
I'd been to this place a couple of times in the past and knew that it it was a quick and easy place to go and grab a bite to eat. Anyway, I was meeting a couple of friends when I was in Adelaide recently and decided to come here because it was very close to where I was working. The place is actually a pretty decent size, and there is an upstairs area as well (though we stayed on the ground level). The food is pretty good, and quite cheap as well. They had the Penne, while I had the small pizza. I have to say that the pizza was pretty good, and the staff were really nice as well. I also had a long black, and the coffee actually wasn't all that bad. It's a pretty nice cafe, and not a bad place to grab a bite to eat at lunch (or breakfast).
