Great food as always but i just dont remember it being so busy for lunch. Perhaps it was the weather that everyone on their lunch break came here as its undercover but the long wait for our lunch was just way too long. Everyone ordered but we all waited over an hour. It was extrememly busy and fully booked but as everyone only had 1.5hrs for lunch it wasnt much time to enjoy the meal. I ordered the pork belly and it was absolutely yummy, the sauce went really well with the pork and the pork was really soft. The crackling skin though was a bit hard to bite in to but when i manage to it was definitel a big crunch that can be heard by the rest of the table. I only wish everyone could have eaten at a slower pace and not try to quickly to get back in to work. Not sure if they were short staff or just overbooked but they need to work on the wait time for meals. Overall still good place for lunch
Another opportunity to dine at 90 Secondi, a team lunch hosted by my manager. This time we were seated upstairs, lucky we had a booking as downstairs was completely filled up. i ordered the slow cooked lamb shoulder in penne pasta. The serving size was reasonable. It came out super hot and smelt so good. Had to wait for it to cool down a bit before i could take the first bite. And indeed it was so good. The lamb was so soft with every bite of penne and the parmasen cheese makes it even better. A popular dished that was ordered by a few team members was the calamari with lemon aioli and rocket and cherry tomato salad and the slow baked and chargrilled lamb spare ribs with lemon. Given the big table of 10 people, the food came out all together so the wait was not long for all of us. Although full everyone ended the session with nice warm coffee's and hot chocolates. 90 Secondi's menu all seem so good that it does make it hard to decide. So if ever the ...read more
Feeling like a creamy based pasta on one of my lunch breaks at work, a friend suggested to have lunch at 90 Secondi. Based on other friends recommendation, we thought to give it a try. Reservations had to be made and lucky we did as it was so busy during lunch time. Great decision choice on the Linguine Carbonara as it was perfect size and just superb. It definitely satisfied my creamy cravings for the day. We also had one of their gourmet pizzas, which is average. Service is good. Staff are friendly making sure we are happy with the meals and always topping up our water glasses. The waiter that served us had an accent so was believable he could have been italian which gave the restaurant a good atmosphere for our dining experience. I know i will be back as would like to try other dishes on the menu.
