I'm genuinely disgusted with the actions of this company and am lodging a complaint with the Department of Fair Trading plumbers and drainers tribunal (My Inspections Gateway). My 72yo mother had a quote for $3800 to complete works related to replacing a broken pipe following tree root damage. The works were completed yesterday, 16/10/17 by ONE plumber in ONE day. My mother, always trusting, paid for the work before thinking and the toilets were not able to be flushed without flooding AFTER the work was completed. This morning saw the plumber return, jet blasted the lines and then gave my mum another quote for $5200, telling her that there was a new problem and if she didn't have a new Gateway Valve replaced, he would report her home to the Water Board for non-compliance. Steer clear from this company! Total rip off!!!
We were very unhappy with their service. We had a blocked toilet to which they picked the most expensive possible problem and assured us once they replaced all the pipes under the house it would be fixed. They had no proof to show us any reason to replace the pipes, which we had requested!
Within 1 week we had the same problem! They would not rectify this without charging us thousands more!

Had the misfortune to deal with this company in 2011. Had me over a barrel due to a blocked sewer. Wanted $500 to use the jet but couldn't clear it. Undertook to check out the entire sewer line but reneged. Dug up (approx 1 metre deep) and repaired a break in the pvc pipe). Cost $3,700. Ripped off. 1/2 star is overrated.
