The A Cafe, 71 jetty Rd, is always our place to stop when at Brighton. This morning we enjoyed a wonderful breakfast and coffee, while sitting in comfortable chairs on the kerb, watching the crowd pass by. The service was first class. They supply free morning papers, free Wifi is available. Good call

We have been dining at this Cafe for a number of years, there breakfast menu is wonderful and diverse, and is always consistently good.
After an absence of twelve months we were back for another repeat breakfast.
We both enjoyed a large plate loaded with scrambled eggs, good size bacon rashers, mushrooms, tomatoes, sausage and toast. While enjoying two very good coffee's, we sat back relaxing in comfortable deck chairs under the sun umbrellas outside on the kerb. Reflecting on such a wonderful, well prepared meal we had just enjoyed, along with our coffee. Reading papers supplied and free Wifi. Once again the service could not be faulted. A Cafe is the place, for food or just a coffee, consistently good.

Ok so I was someone that didn't check reviews before entering (big mistake) customer service is non existent! We ordered 3 bagettes 3 hot drinks $55 later I received a an extra I didn't ask for a hair that wasn't mine! I descreatl spoke to a lady and advised her, I got no apology at this point. So the new one came out and it looked like the same one and even this time no apology. With other options on this street I would even bother coming in the doors here!

We returned to this Cafe to have a full breakfast, along with their excellent coffee. We sat outside on comfortable retro wood & canvas chairs, enjoying two large lattes, a huge slice of Baklava and a beautiful warm soft delicious fresh made muffin. Very relaxing watching the crowd walk past us, great place if you are a people watcher. Inside has comfortable seating configurations, with the walls adorned with photos of Marilyn. Even though popular and busy, we found the service excellent. For us this was a great find and we will definitely return for breakfast.
