Had a great evening at this atmospheric little place. Found the staff to be very helpful and obliging. The food was amazing and of high quality. Yeah, we had to wait a bit for steaks ordered but where don't you wait for a decent steak? I also noticed they have an area set up for kids to make their own"Junior Master Chef" desserts. (Cute!) I just absolutely loved the bar area with all it's curios and whatnots. Excellent entertainment and plenty of room to get up and have dance. Met the owners/management and found them to be down to earth and very hospitable. Can't say I agree with any of the bad reviews on here, as the place I went to didn't have anything in common with the place they were at. I can highly recommend this restaurant on value for money, service, atmosphere and quality. Would be a great spot for a function as well. Thank you AD Ryans for a most enjoyable evening. We will definitely be back.

This is a great venue serving good/average pub food, but very poorly staffed and managed. At this stage the service and foul manner of the boss may leave you feeling sour from the experience as it did for us. We're not going back.

Its also totally kid unfriendly due to one person who would appears to be the boss.

I dont even want to give this place half a star...after the treatment myself and friends received from the management, i wouldn't want anyone else i know to waste their time or money at Ad Ryans..Unfortunately the shocking attitude of the management brings the whole place down. The food was ok, nothing special. Our food wasnt served till 9pm when we were seated at 7.30. Overall very bad.

Myself and 9 others went to AD Ryan's last night to celebrate my B'day and to watch a potential wedding singer. The food was fine. It was of the standard you would expect. The singer was good and the waitresses were helpful. Unfortunately it's the owner who is the problem. There are far better places you could spend your money at in the area. Never ever again!

Service is non existent. They got portion sizes wrong and estimated the cob loafs were a third of the size they actually were when they arrived on our table. This meant we thought we had to order more and ended up with too much food and we wasted our money. Not all of our meals were served together leaving one or two people waiting more than 15mins while the rest of us ate in fear of our meals going cold. The bill, a calculator and a pen were dumped on the table and the waitress promptly walked away without saying a word, we weren't offered desserts, drinks or tea and coffee.

I keep wanting to give AD's a go because I want to support my local, but they just don't impress me. Maybe I need to be 50+, enjoy armature bands and be satisfied with a pot of beer only to like AD's.
