What a disappointment this place was. It was my birthday and we went there for a bit of romance but it was not nice at all. It had not been cleaned, there were dead bugs and insects in the spa, the BBQ was dirty so couldnt be used, the outside deck was thick with dead bugs, cobwebs, leaves and tree debris and we couldnt sit on the outside furniture because of the filth. The "supposed" romantic candle holder had one dead candle floating in it and some dead bugs, there were two odd dinner plates, two teaspoons and two coffee cups (go figure!). Most of Halls Gap was closed when we went there including the restaurants because of the recent floods but they were deceptive and did not advise us of this.
