As expected they know their steak here. All meat was cooked as requested and was tasty and tender. It is worth trying meat off their aged section - intense flavours. Substantial salt and pepper grinders allow you to season to your own taste. Love the theatre of having the larger cuts carved at your table. It is also definitely worth having the Gravad Lax (cured fish) - it was amazing - carved to order and it just melted in your mouth - I would have been happy with a plate of that for dinner. The make your own salad bar offers lots of options.

to add on.. with the service, the staff were friendly, kind and helpful. I also checked just before we left the house if they had any cakes to suprize my hubby with and the girl on the phone said she will organize something for me and put a note in my reservation. I spoke to someone sneakily when we got in and she said not to worry the note had been seen and soon as our mains our finished they'll bring something out 10-15 mins later .... And they did... one of the most amazing Warm Chocolate Puddings i've had yet! It was a suprize to him and although he doesn't like sweets much he enjoyed that - he was nice to share :) We did have a lovely night here! Definitely give this place a try if you haven't, and I you like chocolate definitely get the warm chocolate pudding!

I've been wanting to come here for a while because I heard the steak is pretty good. Every time I've tried to book it's been booked out but that's because it's been a last minute decision. I booked 4 days in advance this time and finally got a table but it was outside. I took my hubby here for his birthday and we both had a lovely night. Although it was raining and cold and we were seated outside, it was warm where we were with the wall heaters and the blinds blocking the wind and rain. The restaurant was busy, all tables taken, but the staff were attentive still. It is quite on the pricey side and if you want the salad bar (a pretty good salad bar it is) it cost extra on too, but I'm glad to have come and give this place a try. I would probably come back for another special occasion. I would recommend it too if you haven't been.
