A Kur Spa

I was taken here as a suprise birthday gift and left feeling so calm, relaxed and unbelievable refreshed. I had a body scrub/massage followed by a facial and a head massage. The room was so relaxing with gentle music and soft lights. All the products they used smelled great too. After the pampering we then got to chill in the spa and steam room. This little spa is a hidden treasure. Loved it!

After receiving a gift voucher for my birthday, my partner and I had a couples massage with a facial. It was the best experience I have ever had. It started by getting into robes and hoping into the steam room followed by a spa bath. The atmosphere and design makes you feel like you are in another world, calm and relaxing. The best surprise was the massage table. SO comfortable!!! The whole experience was quality, down to the quality and softness of the towels. The products they used smelt so lovely and my skin felt and looked really healthy afterwards. Afterwards I had to tell my mother to buy me a gift voucher to Akur for every birthday for the rest of my life.
There are some reviews stating they had to wait 40 mins for treatments but in my view I would have waited hours for what I experienced. The staff are very lovely and professional. You need to experience a treatment at this spa!!

Today my wife and I used a gift voucher we were given for a couples package. To start off we had use of the spa and steam room which was great! We had the whole area to ourselves and it was a really nice way to relax before our massage.
The staff were very welcoming and the whole experience was above expectations.
I would highly recommend A Kur Spa.

After having had one wonderful experience with Akur, the second time we were left waiting 40 minutes before they got around to us. At that time I heard about what a horrible day they had had....my day wasn't going to well either -so I left. I wrote an email expressing that it would have been nice to receive a call to know they were running late and was told
Half an hour is not an unusually long wait time at this busy time of the year my hairdresser was running over an hour late to other day so I left and came back it happens sometime but not often it's just life. (Written by particular staff at Akur Spa).
Very disappointed as I like to support local business.

I love Akur! Danielle is warm, friendly, and knowledgable. Ive had several dermapen treatments, with good results so far. Her facials are expensive, however it's worth it- just sublime!
