Lou Szymkow, has over 30 years experience in public life, loves what he does; and is determined to ensure your ceremony is uniquely yours making it memorable, fulfilling and enriching... and maybe even fun.
Appointed in 2015 by the Attorney Generals Office as a Civil Celebrant, he is a member of the Australian Federation of Civil Celebrants as well as the Funeral Celebrants Association of Australia.
Having travelled extensively, and being a keen researcher, he also has knowledge of various faiths, cultures, and rituals but also writes poetry, has authored a goal setting booklet, is an accomplished public speaker (the voice of the Mamre Fair for 28 years) and is working on a sci-fi novelette. In addition, awarded for community work, he is intimately involved in the local Christian and broader community.

Lou was amazing as our celebrant for our wedding. My husband's family is polish and he added some polish words to the ceremony which was very cute. He got us to write out our love story and turned it into a nice story on the wedding day. He was perfect for our small wedding as he got everyone involved and really made the vibe of the whole event. He even filmed the ceremony and sent us the video after. This was an amazing touch and we cried as we watched the video.

Lou Szymkow conducted a Baby Naming ceremony for our daughter. He spent so much time meeting with us and thoroughly preparing the details of the service. It was the most professionally executed service we have every attended, let alone been a part of. The details were correct, the technology was flawless and he was such a gentleman and great speaker. We cannot thank him enough for making our baby's special day so perfect.
