A Personal Dog Trainer

Our dogs are Murphy & Lexie, almost 2 years old. Murphy is a Groodle and Lexie is a Cavoodle. They are delightful dogs, however in the first year we had them we honestly thot we had made a BIG MISTAKE that was taking its toll on the whole family. We found it a difficult task to train & guide these puppies even though we had engaged another organisation to train them from the weekend we got them home :-(. We were afraid to open the back door at times due to their behaviour. We didnt want to have them inside with us as they would run and jump up and chew things and when outside they would chew the furniture. We really had no more solutions and to be truthfull had come to the point where we seriously considered getting new home for them. We have two West Highland White Terriers which are now just over a year old. Jon from A Personal Dog Trainer has trained them all the way through, from puppy school to follow on courses to develop their skills and even tricks classes. We've also had a one on one session at home which was really useful. It's always nice when strangers comment on how well your dogs are trained! Jon also offers a weekend dog sitting service and posts photos on facebook of what they get up to - they have an absolutely wonderful time and are always so happy to see her. Thanks Jon!

I have an 18 month old boxer named laila and at 16 weeks we signed up for puppy school with a personal dog trainer. As boxers are well known for their high energy and excitement i was keen to train laila from a young age. A personal dog trainer puppy school was the perfect fit for laila, the intense 6 weeks course we did ranged from toilet training to walking on leash to recalling off leash to basic obedience training and socialisation. The small classes of up to six dogs ensured laila and i got plenty of individual attention. As a result i now have a very well trained boxer who i can take out and about with me, is well socialised around other dogs and i am able to confidently have laila off leash at the park.
