A-roon, or Thai Kitchen, is the best Thai you will ever eat! We have eaten at other Thai restaurants in Katoomba and find them all severely over-rated compared to A-roon. Don't be deterred by the unassuming decor - this is all part of the friendly, homely service that you get here. The food is to die for - the flavour, freshness and quality of all their dishes is unbeatable; they use plenty of fresh vegetables in their curries and stir-fries and the meat they use is always high quality - no tiny prawns or chewy meat cuts here! We eat here regularly, about once or twice a month, and have never been disappointed. At the front of the house, Angie is always friendly and takes the time to get to know her customers. We're apprehensive about letting others know about A-roon, because it has been a well-kept secret in the Blue Mountains for years and we would hate to not be able to get a table as more people find out about it!!
