A Salt and Battery

$42 for a platter for 2... grossly under sized.. fish was cold after 10mins drive home batter was chewy.. it weighed a total of 880g and the box itself was 125g of that.. the server at the front counter was rude when I explained the price was different online he simply shrugged it off and bluntly said its a new menu no apology. Safe to say I wont be going back there I'll be heading to Tipplers up the road.

Used to love this place, food is still very tasty but too inconsistent with portion sizes. Would usually get a platter, most of the time the fish and scallops were so tiny, they never serve octopus which is on the menu. Sometimes scallops come with roe, sometimes not. Too stingy these days to be worth the price which is a shame as it is very tasty

Every Uni student familiar fish and chips place! More chicken salt please!!!!

How sad, this used to be my go to fish and chip shop but about a year ago it underwent new management. It's still alright but it used to be amazing so we no longer make the trip.

This is probably the best seafood place I've ever been to. The chips are amazing, the fish is fresh and yummy, and they do great hamburgers. They always have a friendly person on the til when we go get our takeaway.
