Last evening after using my garden tap, I found that I was unable to turn it off and then turned off the water main. I phoned the Tap Doctor Call Centre and made an appointment to have a plumber come the next morning. When he was looking at the tap he remarked that Gas Hot Water System needed attention and advised me, verbally, that I needed to have the Cold Relief and the Hot Relief Valves needed replacing. I am an elderly widow and understood that the option of a new system would be expensive. I opted to have valves and taps done but was not given a written quote - all was done privately on his phone! I paid $ 488 I and only got the full quote when I went to my email. My fault - he was very slick, a good salesperson! I am unfortunately, not as sharp as I used to be due to my age! Beware!!
Had the guys from the tap doctor come out to clear a drain first plumber came out and couldnt clear it then the next day two plumbers came out without the right equipment was quoted $1200 to complete the job in the end I was given a bill for $3000 these guys will bill excessively and are ill equipped they will bag other plumbers work I would steer clear of them and will never use them again
